Mia is entering her fourth year with the Bomber organization as an assistant coach with the 18U National Team. She also leads outfield training sessions as part of winter workouts, continuing the growth and development of Bombers athletes during the offseason.
Also entering her seventh season as an assistant coach at York College, Mia contributes to all parts of the Spartan Softball program. Her areas of specialization include outfield, base running, hitting, and strength, speed, and conditioning. Since she joined York’s staff, the Spartans have won two MAC Commonwealth titles, including the program’s first-ever conference championship in 2021. During that time, she has coached 25 All-MAC Commonwealth selections and 8 All-Region honorees.
Mia believes strongly in the importance of academics as part of her student-athletes’ development. During her time at York, the Spartans have consistently earned recognition from the NFCA for team academic excellence, highlighted by national top-10 team GPA rankings in 2022 and 2023.
In addition to her primary coaching duties, Mia directs York Softball’s Youth and Skills Camps. She also partners with André Butler to lead Graveyard Mentality Outfield Camps throughout the region. Mia is an active member of the NFCA, holding an NFCA Hitting Endorsement, and is a graduate of WeCOACH’s WCA Class #53. She also works with athletes individually through hitting and defensive lessons, with a passion for helping players reach their full potential.
A proud graduate of both York College, she played in 123 games for the Spartans, posting an on-base percentage of .397 and a slugging percentage of .516. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology in 2019 and her master’s degree in strategic leadership and management in 2023.
Mia is grateful for the opportunity to coach within an organization that values the whole person, not just the athlete, prioritizes player development at a high level, and guides athletes to compete at every level of collegiate softball.
