JOEL SCHREINER

Coach Joel has more than a decade of experience coaching high school and travel softball and has combined to win nearly 500 career games. The Lancaster native spent six seasons as head varsity coach at Lower Dauphin High School after spending three seasons as an assistant at Hempfield High School. During his tenure at Lower Dauphin, the Falcons won a Mid-Penn Conference championship, made three appearances in the District III playoffs and two PIAA State appearances. While at Hempfield, the Knights won a Lancaster-Lebanon League championship and appeared in the district playoffs. In 11 seasons at the travel ball level, he has coached the PA Shooting Stars, Lady Stormers and Nook where he led his current team to 93 wins over the last two seasons. Coach Joel and wife Karen live in Lancaster and have two daughters: Megan and Marli, who plays softball at Millersville University.
